Document Automation Process Leader Adds to SaaS Portfolio With Release of Fax Services for SAP Applications
Business Wire, March 28, 2007
New on demand service enables organizations and users to send and manage faxes from directly within their SAP system without installing any software or hardware
MADISON, Wis. -- Esker, the leader in document process automation solutions, announced today the release of Esker Fax Services for SAP applications, a new SaaS (Software as a Service) offering for the enterprise. The SAP-certified service integrates seamlessly allowing users to send faxes directly from their SAP system without any investment in fax software or hardware, which makes adding virtually unlimited fax capacity while streamlining business processes not only possible, but also highly cost effective.
Fax Services for SAP is part of the growing family of Esker on Demand document automation services offered by Esker. More than two million documents per month are processed in Esker on Demand production facilities worldwide for more than 800 organizations. The Esker on Demand network is scalable, robust and built on over 15 years of Esker experience in the fax server industry.
"Esker is well known by SAP customers, thanks to our heritage of supporting this community with document automation and fax server solutions for well over a decade," said Jean-Michel Berard, Esker CEO. "We are committed to giving our customers all options possible to automate their document processes -- whether their business needs call for a software solution, service or combination of the two -- without having to sacrifice seamless SAP system integration."
With the Esker Fax Services for SAP applications, users can fax directly from Business Workplace as well as execute automated production faxing from any SAP module. In addition to sending faxes, the service also makes real-time status of each document available within the SAP system itself. Upon submission of faxes by a user of Business Workplace or automatically from SAP Modules, documents are securely transmitted to one of three Esker Production Facilities available 24/7/365. Real-time fax status is directly fed back into the SAP system and is visible to users. The services are made available with a pay-as-you-go model. Customers pay an initial set-up fee, a small monthly subscription and a low per-page price thereafter. And, least cost routing options allow companies sending faxes internationally to fax at the cheapest cost possible by routing jobs to Esker Production Centers geographically closest to recipients.
"Esker Fax Services for SAP represents our answer to the increasing customer call for pure on demand, no software services that are instantly scalable and completely reliable, with predictable costs and competitive pricing." said Hugo Embert, Esker on Demand Product Manager, Esker.
In addition to Fax Services for SAP, other Esker document delivery services include:
* Fax Services for Notes -- no-software service for sending and receiving faxes within Lotus Notes.
* FlyDoc -- no-software service for fax and mail automation from desktop applications and MS Office.
* Fax and Mail on Demand -- fax and mail services as an extension of Esker DeliveryWare document automation software.
