Mr. Christensen Will Lead Marketing and Product Development Initiatives
SALT LAKE CITY -- Corda Technologies announced today that it has named Mark Christensen as VP of Marketing. Mr. Christensen will head Corda's Marketing and Product Development departments.
Mr. Christensen will direct product roadmap development, as well as marketing, public relations and advertising initiatives.
"Mark has been a tremendous asset to Corda since he joined us two years ago," said John Purvis, President and CEO of Corda Technologies. "His continued leadership as VP of Marketing will greatly enhance the company's product offering and growth."
Mr. Christensen has over 10 years experience in directing and leading both technical and marketing organizations. Mark began his career early, with internships while in college with Microsoft and Intel. After graduation, Mark went on to work for Intel Corporation as a software engineer. Later, he joined LANDesk as a Product Manager. Mark joined Corda Technologies in 2005 as Director of Product Management, where he has been instrumental in helping to shape and create Corda's product roadmap and go-to-market strategies. He studied Computer Science at Brigham Young University, where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree.
"Mark's leadership in Corda's web marketing and search engine optimization have made a real difference for Corda," said Mardell Cheney, CTO of Corda Technologies, "not only in the acquisition of new customers who can now avail themselves of Corda's products, but in suggesting new web-based solutions built around powerful data visualization. At the same time, Mark has been a catalyst for a more rapid and more nimble Corda development process in bringing new solutions to market."
Mr. Christensen's appointment is a continuation of major, recent Corda initiatives in technology and marketing designed to end the cycle of data-deprived decisions by providing a range of dashboard and data visualization solutions. Corda positions itself so that customers can capitalize on its deep expertise in the field to quickly create performance management dashboards that deliver insight and ROI.
