Business Wire, May 1, 2007
Annual Event Aims to Educate the Channel and Executive-Level Business Leaders on the Unified Communications Marketplace and AVST's Product Offerings
FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. -- Continuing its mission to educate resellers and business leaders on the benefits of unified communications, Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) today announced its annual reseller educational conference, the AVST Reseller Oasis 2007. In its third year, the annual event will take place May 2-4, 2007 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, attracting top resellers and senior level decision-makers from around the world.
AVST, a leading provider of unified communications solutions, designed the Reseller Oasis event to educate its highly influential audience on its newest product offerings and sales initiatives, discuss the corporate roadmap for the coming year and provide a forum for new ideas. This year's event will feature an introduction to the recently released CallXpress[R] 7.9, two industry specific case study presentations, important updates on new channel programs, an overview of the overall direction of the company, and a celebration of AVST's 25 years in business.
"The Reseller Oasis is a great place to learn about the latest UC innovations, network with the industry's top professionals, and provide us with key feedback on CallXpress," said AVST's Vice President of Marketing, Denny Michael. "The ultimate goal of the conference is to help resellers better prepare themselves in developing communications strategies by providing them with a variety of resources."
This year's Reseller Oasis follows on the heels of the successful release of CallXpress 7.9. Much of the focus of the event will be directed at highlighting the new features and key benefits of the new version of CallXpress 7.9, which is the only unified communications solution that gives IT managers a choice of four unified messaging architectures based on the needs of their business. Members of AVST's Product Management and Sales Engineering departments will share their insights into one of the most important releases of CallXpress in recent history.
In addition, AVST's President and CEO, Hardy Myers, and the company's Vice President of Product Management, Tom Minifie, will moderate panel discussions presenting industry specific case studies of CallXpress deployments at both the University of Maryland Baltimore and Banyan Productions. A question and answer session will follow each presentation, promising an informative and dynamic exchange of ideas.
The event will culminate with the 3rd Annual Awards Banquet, which will celebrate outstanding reseller achievements for 2006 as well as AVST's 25th anniversary.
