Solution Extends SAP Integrated Business Processes with High Volume, Integrated Document Processes
BURLINGTON, Mass. -- StreamServe([R]) Inc., a global leader in Dynamic Enterprise Publishing, today announced StreamServe Financial Services([TM]) designed for use with the SAP([R]) for Banking solution portfolio is now an SAP-endorsed business solution. This solution provides significant cost savings by offering a fully integrated, end-to-end document processing solution. The consolidation of multiple documents into individualized customer communications and personalized customer content enhances customer service and retention. StreamServe Financial Services will be positioned by both companies.
StreamServe Financial Services designed for use with SAP for Banking improves operational efficiencies within high-volume environments typical of financial services by integrating disparate document processes, streamlining the creation and distribution of enterprise documents, and consolidating customer information into fewer documents. The integrated document communication solution enhances SAP business processes for Banking from account activation to statement delivery across banking applications, including the SAP Deposits Management, SAP Loans Management and SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) applications.
The solution provides customers with personalized account statements, welcome packs and business correspondence, allowing institutions to increase customer retention and satisfaction by transforming simple customer statements into effective communications, relevant to each unique customer. Leveraging the solution, financial institutions can utilize cross-sell and up-sell messaging to deepen the relationships with their customers while reinforcing their brand.
"Banks are under tremendous pressure to support an increasing volume of customers whose activities are managed in various product areas, making it increasingly difficult to communicate in a way that makes sense to the customer," said Chris Stone, president and CEO of StreamServe. "Our solution simplifies business and document communication and allows institutions to present clear and concise communications to customers."
SAP-endorsed business solutions are complementary to SAP software offerings, developed in accordance with SAP development guidelines, and provide additional capabilities and flexibility for businesses running SAP solutions. StreamServe integrates customer communications capabilities within the framework of the SAP NetWeaver[R] platform.
"By endorsing solutions from partners such as StreamServe, our customers in the banking industry will benefit greatly by having access to leading-edge solutions that will enable them to stay competitive and further differentiate their offerings, realize lower total cost of ownership, improve efficiency, and increase a bank's customer service and retention," said Marc Derungs, vice president and head of Banking Solution & Portfolio Management at SAP. "This SAP-endorsed business solution from StreamServe enhances SAP's business process platform for banking, based on an enterprise service-oriented architecture, providing banks with the flexibility to respond quickly and profitably to business change while leveraging and protecting existing IT investments."
"There is still a significant potential for cost savings that banks can realize by optimizing their account statement and account opening document processes. They can also drive additional revenues and improve customer loyalty by leveraging account statement output to improve customer service and deliver more personalized offers," said Melissa Webster, program director at IDC for Content & Digital Media Technologies. "The combination of StreamServe Financial Services and SAP for Banking gives companies the integrated solution they need to leverage these opportunities for greater business efficiency."
StreamServe will demonstrate its SAP-endorsed business solution at SAPPHIRE([R]) '07 Vienna, SAP's international customer conference taking place May 14-16. StreamServe will be located in the SAP NetWeaver Partner Pavilion.
