Analysys Continues to Strengthen Senior Ranks with New Head of Custom Research

CAMBRIDGE, England -- Analysys, the global advisers on telecoms, IT and media (http://research.analysys.com) announces the appointment of Phil Todd as Head of Custom Research at Analysys Research.
Todd's appointment will enhance the capability of Analysys to deliver bespoke research projects and leverage the firm's comprehensive research base.
Todd was formerly principal consultant and custom research team manager with Understanding & Solutions, a specialist agency providing insight into digital content markets. In this role, he worked with leading content producers and broadcasters in Europe, especially in the area of high-definition platforms.
Todd specialises in broadcast, media and digital content strategy for content providers, content distributors and equipment vendors. His expertise will further extend the offerings of Analysys Custom Research, ensuring the business continues to meet the evolving needs of clients worldwide as technology platforms compete to deliver services in converging markets.
Todd has undertaken research into market segmentation and quantification; B2B and B2C product development studies and workshops; studies in customer satisfaction; brand metrics; and online service strategies.
Todd has specific expertise in research into price sensitivity and elasticity for fixed and mobile services, in addition to studies for online publishers. He also has experience of investigations within online and electronic delivery for financial services across Europe and, over a 20-year research career, has conducted projects on a global basis including those based in Europe, Singapore, South Africa and the USA. He has a degree in Psychology and English, and a Masters degree in Computer Science.
