'Land or Sea, Kids Get Plenty Free' During AAA Travel Promotion

BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- Just in time for the family vacation season for travel customers who book by June 30, 2007, AAA has special discounts and promotions on a wide variety of tours and cruises that will make travel easier on the family budget, especially for those who have children.

The 'Land or Sea, Kids Get Plenty Free' program features many interesting and fun-filled options, from AAA's network of preferred vendors who meet specific criteria for reliability and service, to great locations like Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, the Caribbean and more.

Participating partners include Holland America Line, NWA WorldVacations, Pleasant Holidays, Royal Caribbean, Trafalgar, Travel Impressions, Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resorts.

For example, on Holland America Alaska cruises, the third and fourth passengers occupying the same cabin sail for free on select May through September sailings. NWA World Vacations is also offering comprehensive tour packages to Hawaii that are very kid-friendly. Packages that include ResortQuest properties, for example, offer a "Kids Stay, Play and Eat Free" promotion year-round. To sweeten the deal, parents receive up to $450 off per booking on select Hawaii air-inclusive packages offered by NWA World Vacations.

ResortQuest's "Kids Stay Play and Eat Free" program includes:

* Complimentary welcome for all children under 12 upon check-in.

* Children 17 years and younger stay free with their parents at any ResortQuest Hawaii hotel or all-suite condominium.

* Children 12 and younger receive free admission to top island attractions when accompanied by a paying adult.

* Children 12 and younger receive free meals at popular family friendly restaurants when accompanied by a paying adult.

Royal Caribbean is also offering a third and fourth passenger free option on select sailings to the Caribbean on three popular ships: Enchantment of the Seas, Majesty of the Seas and Sovereign of the Seas.

For those traveling West, Trafalgar Tours has special offers that can save families as much as $1,817 (40 percent or more off the child rate) all summer long. These savings are valid on Wild West, Cowboys and Buffalos, Canyons and Parks adventure; Historic Highlights, Trails of the Rocky Mountains, Canada's Rockies, Northwest Coastal Adventure, Best of the Canyonlands and Best of Canada's West.

Kids can stay and eat free at select properties in Mexico thanks to Travel Impressions, which offers all-inclusive packages at Cancun's Great Parnassus Resort & Spa, Gran Caribe Real Resort & Spa and in Puerto Vallarta at the Crown Paradise Club. This offer includes 50 percent off the "second room for kids option," plus free babysitting, kids club, welcome packet for kids, and more.

In Florida, families will find travel bargains through Universal - including a six-night family of four vacation from $1,400 (less than $50 per person per day). This is an exclusive package, available to AAA members only.

The package includes accommodations at Sheraton Studio City Hotel, four 2-Park unlimited admission tickets to Universal for seven days; four 1-Day tickets to Sea World; four 2-Park Universal Meals Deal passes valid for two days and free access to Universal CityWalk.
