Ingrian Networks' CEO Robert A Steinkrauss Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2007 Award Finalist in Northern California
Business Wire, May 16, 2007
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Ingrian[R] Networks, Inc., the leading provider of data privacy solutions, today announced that president and CEO Robert A Steinkrauss is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year([R]) 2007 Award in Northern California. The Ernst & Young awards program was designed to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs on a regional, national and global level who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Steinkrauss was selected as a finalist from over 80 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 29, 2007 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.
"It's an honor to be recognized as a finalist for this year's awards, and be recognized for our market leadership and business growth," said Steinkrauss. "Ingrian has grown tremendously during the last few years as we've focused on data protection and expanded our product line to meet the privacy demands of today's enterprises."
When Steinkrauss joined Ingrian Networks as CEO in 2003, he raised a new round of funding that formed the base for transitioning Ingrian from an SSL vendor into a provider of data privacy solutions. Since introducing its data privacy solutions in 2004, the company has doubled its revenues each year through FY06, and become a significant player in the payment processor, financial and retail industries.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards program celebrates its 21st anniversary this year. Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 17, 2007. The national Entrepreneur Of The Year celebration is part of Ernst & Young's Strategic Growth Forum. The overall national Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
