A.M. Best Presents at the ACB Risk Management & Finance Forum

OLDWICK, N.J. -- Representatives from A.M. Best Company were invited to contribute to the America's Community Bankers (ACB) Risk Management & Finance Forum held in Orlando, FL from April 22 - 25. Khanh Vuong, Assistant Vice President, and James Barnes, CFA, Financial Analyst, of the banking group at A.M. Best spoke to an audience of bankers regarding "Assessing a Bank's Risk Management System for an Interactive Credit Rating."
The conference was attended by member banks of the ACB consisting of CEO's, Presidents, CFO's and other bank representatives from senior management. The A.M. Best banking team opened the program presenting at the "Early Bird Session." The discussion focused on how a bank's ERM framework contributes to the credit rating process. The session captured the important aspects of a bank's risk management system.
