Peopleclick High Volume Hiring Technology in the Running for Best New Computer Software Product

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Peopleclick, Inc., the leading global talent acquisition solutions provider, today announced that the company was selected as a finalist in two categories for the coveted 2007 American Business Awards, a national awards program honoring great performances in business.

For the second year in a row, Peopleclick has been named as a finalist in the "Best New Product or Service - Computer Software" category. This year, Peopleclick's industry-leading High Volume hiring technology is up for the award. The technology was created to address the unique high volume hiring challenges many organizations face, such as hiring large quantities of workers, many times over a vast geographical area or for hourly positions which are often seasonal, cyclical, or lend themselves to a high-turnover rate.

Peopleclick worked with many key clients with high volume needs to create a technology solution that uses a constant sourcing model which creates a "just-in-time" pool of candidates for an organization. Because the Peopleclick solution offers a constant sourcing model for hiring large quantities of employees, it is applicable for various needs including those found in retail, call centers, manufacturing, construction, distribution/transportation, hospitality, food service and campus recruiting.

"In today's highly competitive global marketplace, it is imperative for companies to find the right people quickly and cost effectively," said Ginny Gomez, senior vice president of product management at Peopleclick. "Our High Volume technology helps businesses find the right people in less time, allowing in-store managers and others to focus their attention back where it belongs - running the business."

Additionally, the awards program recognized the Peopleclick Global Client Conference: Compass 2006 video as a finalist for the "Intro: Company Meeting" category. The flash animation video was created in conjunction with The Catevo Group, a consulting firm offering design, marketing and public relations services.

The awards program, nicknamed the Stevie([R]) awards for the Greek word "crowned," was hailed as "the business world's version of the Oscars" by the New York Post (April 27, 2005). Stevie winners will be announced during a gala at New York's Marriott Marquis Hotel on Monday, June 11.

More than 2,000 nominations were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, and Best New Product or Service. Finalists were selected by business professionals nationwide during more than five weeks of preliminary judging. Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie winners from among the Finalists.
