Business Wire, May 25, 2007
HONG KONG -- Chairman and CEO of China Premium Lifestyle Enterprise, Inc. ("China Premium") (OTCBB:CPMM), Mr. Richard Lee, together with Executive Vice President, John Newman, head to the world's most famous sports car race, the Le Mans 24 Hours in France, later this month. China Premium's subsidiary, Italian Motors (Sales & Service), Ferrari importer and distributor for Hong Kong and Macau, is a co-sponsor of well known Hong Kong race driver and part-time motoring journalist, Matthew Marsh, 38, who will be the first driver from Hong Kong ever to take part in the prestigious 24 hour endurance race. Marsh will be driving a Ferrari F430 GT which will carry the Bauhinia, Hong Kong's national emblem, together with the logo of Italian Motors (Sales & Service), on the roof of the car.
During a press conference in Hong Kong to announce the Company's co-sponsorship of Marsh on 22 May, Mr. Lee said, "We are proud to support Matthew as the first driver from Hong Kong to compete in one of the world's most historic motor races. Furthermore, as he will be driving the latest race car from Ferrari, the F430 GT, it is highly appropriate that we do so as Hong Kong and Macau's exclusive Ferrari importer and distributor. We wish him the very best of success and I look forward to supporting him in person in June during my first visit to the Le Mans 24 Hours."
The French town of Le Mans, located to the South West of Paris, has played host to the famous 24 hour endurance race for the past 75 years. The race will start at 3.00pm local time on Saturday 16th June and the winner will be the car that has completed most laps of the 8.482 mile (13.65km) circuit at 3.00pm on Sunday 17th.
After the race, Mr. Lee and Mr. Newman will travel to the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy, where they will be joined by China Premium's COO, Herbert Adamczyk, for Ferrari's annual world-wide importers' conference. A series of business presentations by Ferrari will coincide with the conclusion of Ferrari's 60th Anniversary Relay event, which passed through Hong Kong on February 8th of this year.
China Premium Lifestyle Enterprise, through its 49%-owned entity, has established itself as a leading Ferrari and Maserati importer, distributor and dealer in Hong Kong and dealer in China, having been affiliated with Ferrari and Maserati since 1992 and 1994 respectively. The company is expanding its offerings to include other luxury goods from around the world, which it markets to its already established base of wealthy Chinese individuals.
