Software Industry Veteran to Play Key Role in Company Growth Initiatives
IRVINE, Calif. -- Integrien, the leader in integrity management solutions, today announced that former Mercury Interactive CFO and IBM Tivoli Systems president David J. Murphy will join the company's board of directors. Murphy is a veteran enterprise solutions executive with more than 25 years experience in advancing key business initiatives and exceeding solution expansion goals for enterprise software companies, most recently serving as senior vice president and CFO of Mercury Interactive Corporation.
Murphy joined Mercury in January 2003 as senior vice president of corporate development and led the company's market expansion and acquisition/integration of companies such as Systinet, Kintana, Appilog, and Performant into Mercury's Business Technology Optimization (BTO) portfolio. He then became Mercury's chief financial officer, during which time he played a leading role in the company's acquisition by HP. Prior to joining Mercury, Murphy was CEO of Asera, where he led the company's efforts as a pioneer in delivering real time collaborative business process solutions for the extended enterprise. Earlier in his career, Murphy was president and general manager of current Integrien partner, IBM Tivoli Systems where he was responsible for day-to-day operations and drove aggressive expansion into new markets for the networking and systems management industry leader. Murphy's background also includes working as the head of the private equity investments group at Perot Systems and as a partner at McKinsey & Company.
As a member of Integrien's board of directors, Murphy will bring significant knowledge about the needs of Integrien's market, as well as experience in building high-growth businesses. Murphy adds to Integrien's blue-chip list of board members and advisors, which also includes Ameet Patel (former CTO of JP Morgan Chase's LabMorgan) and Barry Patmore (former global managing partner at Accenture).
"We are thrilled to have a software industry luminary like David join Integrien's board of directors," said Al Eisaian, Chairman, CEO and cofounder of Integrien. "David's deep background in the software industry will be an invaluable asset as we further establish Integrien as a leading solution provider in the integrity management space powered by world-class real-time predictive analytics. His extensive experience in building visibility and establishing leadership for some of the world's largest software companies will enable him to play a critical role in developing and executing on Integrien's next phase of expansion."
"From my direct experience in this market, I have first hand understanding for the growing problem of managing the availability of crucial business services," said Murphy. "As a result, I'm convinced there is a very clear and large opportunity for Integrien to achieve rapid growth and success. Integrien's innovative solutions based on cutting-edge real-time predictive analytics allow for enterprises to predict and prevent problems in their mission-critical applications before they can impact their customers, their brand and their revenues.
