SAS' Dodson Named President of International Association for Information & Data Quality

CARY, N.C. -- SAS, the leader in business intelligence, today announced that Lisa Flint Dodson, Data Integration Product Manager for SAS, has been named President of the International Association for Information and Data Quality (IAIDQ). A charter member of IAIDQ, Dodson will serve a two-year term leading the international effort to establish the organization's mission and vision, bylaws, code of conduct, and other needed governance mechanisms. In addition she will drive coordinated, worldwide efforts to deliver on key initiatives to codify a body of knowledge for information quality and develop communities of practitioners.
Dodson manages SAS' product management efforts for the company's data quality technologies. Before joining SAS, Dodson served in several positions for DataFlux, a SAS subsidiary that specializes in data quality and data integration solutions.
Dodson is spearheading preparations for the 2007 Information and Data Quality Conference, which will be held Sept. 24-27 in Las Vegas. The conference is the leading annual gathering of the worldwide information and data quality community, with a commitment to offering practical solutions to routine and complex information quality challenges.
