The device is priced as low as $79.99 with a two-year subscriber agreement and $50 mail-in rebate.

Sprint offers a variety of other EV-DO Rev. A-capable devices including three PCMCIA cards (Novatel S720, Sierra AC595 and Pantech PX-500); an Express Card (Novatel EX720) and two USB modems (Novatel U720 and Sierra AC595U). Sprint also offers a variety of laptops, handheld computers and modules embedded with these more robust capabilities.

Sprint customers using any of the current Novatel devices can perform location-based searches that offer navigational support. The basic Sprint location and search usage is included as part of Sprint's flexible data and unlimited data connection card plans.

In an effort to provide customers the best value in wireless broadband, customers signing a two-year Sprint subscriber agreement can receive unlimited data usage for $59.99 per month (no separate voice plan required and no additional discounts apply.) Other individual service plans for mobile broadband devices range from $39.99 per month for 40 MB to $79.99 per month for unlimited data usage with a one-year subscriber agreement. Rates apply to all Sprint Mobile Broadband customers and do not change in areas that have been upgraded to EV-DO Rev. A.
