Opening today, Sharp Business Systems of Indianapolis, formerly Indy Office Solutions, combines high-end management and local service with the industry's leading MFP technology
MAHWAH, N.J. -- Sharp Document Solutions Company of America (SDSCA) today announced that it is continuing to expand its direct regional sales operation with the opening of a new Sharp Business Systems branch in Indianapolis. Sharp Business Systems of Indianapolis opened today as the fourth branch of the division.
SDSCA purchased Indianapolis-based Indy Office Solutions (IOS) to launch Sharp Business Systems in the Indianapolis area, serving Central Indiana. Sharp Business Systems of Indianapolis will be managed by its current president, Stephen Orander, who founded the company eight years ago. Indy Office Solutions has a reputation for superior service and has experienced dramatic growth since its opening. Orander also served most recently as the Chairman of the Service Sub-committee for Sharp's Dealer Council. All employees of Indy Office Solutions have been asked to join the Sharp team and will provide seamless service to new and existing customers across Indianapolis.
Indy Office Solutions also brings its strong background in facilities management to Sharp. Functioning as an all-inclusive program, IOS provides the equipment and personnel to run 12 of its larger clients' copy centers, data centers and mailroom operations. This will continue under the new branch of Sharp Business Systems.
"We are pleased to become a division of Sharp Business Systems and are excited about partnering with one of the strongest names in the industry to continue our strong growth," said Orander. "We look forward to a beneficial working relationship and continuing to deliver the best-in-class document products and solutions to customers."
Sharp Business Systems Strategy
SDSCA plans to establish more than 20 local Sharp Business Systems branches during the next few years.
"Sharp Business Systems will help Sharp continue to grow and strengthen Sharp's distribution in key markets nationwide, already proving successful in Arizona, San Francisco and South Florida," said Ed McLaughlin, President, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. "Our direct branch strategy will augment our strong independent dealer channel by enabling Sharp to better understand customer needs and then translating that into outstanding products and support for our dealers."
