AT&T Teams with Wireless Advocates to Sell AT&T Wireless Service in Costco Stores Nationwide

Company Expands Retail Presence to Nearly 370 Costco Warehouses
SAN ANTONIO -- AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), the nation's leading wireless carrier, and Wireless Advocates, the exclusive third-party provider of wireless phones and services throughout Costco warehouses, today announced an agreement to sell AT&T wireless services through nearly 370 Costco locations nationwide. The services will reach more than 35 million Costco cardholders.
"Through our new agreement, we're able to deliver wireless customers even greater benefits, greater rewards and a new standard of convenience -- all at once," said Glenn Lurie, president, National Distribution for AT&T's wireless division. "Costco is near the top among retail outlets in mobile phone activations, so we are positioned to better deliver the benefits of wireless services to a larger group of consumers. Partnering with Wireless Advocates will ensure that our products are sold with care and expertise and that customer service will be a top priority."
AT&T and Wireless Advocates are now offering AT&T's wireless services at kiosks in each Costco store location. The kiosks are stocked with today's leading handsets, including the Samsung A437 and A517, in addition to Nokia and Motorola models. The Samsung BlackJack will also be sold in select locations. AT&T wireless service will be sold with a waived activation fee and accessory kit, including a vehicle power adapter, ear bud and wireless case.

Costco members will be able to take advantage of and learn about exclusive wireless plans and popular features available from AT&T, including the company's Rollover([R]) Minutes and AT&T Unity(SM) calling plans.
Initially announced earlier this year, the AT&T Unity calling plan combines the benefits of wireless and wired service to create the largest calling community, with more than 120 million AT&T wireless and wired phone numbers across the country.
