Noetix Generator has received significant customer interest since Spring 2007 introduction

REDMOND, Wash. -- Noetix([R]) Corp., a software provider that automatically generates business intelligence (BI) content from enterprise applications, today introduced Noetix Generator 2.0 for Cognos 8 Business Intelligence. This solution will significantly increase the amount of Oracle content that comes 'out-of-the-box' with Cognos 8 BI, making it easier for business users to create their own reports without additional assistance from IT.

New features accompanying version 2.0 include a query and associated metadata capability that presents information from a view to answer common business questions (i.e., 'How many packages did I ship from each warehouse last month?'), making it faster and easier to roll out end user reporting to Cognos 8 BI users.

In addition, version 2.0 enables customers to easily set up internal company reports with the organization's own look and feel, including adding the company's logo, shading report headers with company colors, or adding standard confidentiality/disclaimer notes on all reports at once.
