HealthEdge's Administrative Platform to Supply Claims Processing, Billing, Eligibility and Analytics to Leading Provider of Specialty Insurance Products

BURLINGTON, Mass. -- HealthEdge, a pioneering healthcare software company, today announced that OneBeacon Professional Partners (OBPP), a division of OneBeacon Insurance Group, has purchased its HealthRules([R]) software platform. OBPP will use HealthRules, a next-generation software product, for claims processing and benefits administration in support of its Provider Excess and HMO Reinsurance products.

HealthRules Payor[TM] is a core administrative platform for claims and benefits management. Built on state-of-the-art enterprise technologies, HealthRules delivers unprecedented levels of flexibility, scalability and operational efficiency.

OBPP will implement HealthRules on an application service provider (ASP) basis and will deploy both HealthRules Payor and HealthRules Answers[TM]. Together, these products support a wide range of critical functions, including claims processing, eligibility identification for reinsurance coverage, payment and billing management, inquiry tracking and interactive business analytics.
