Business Wire, Nov 13, 2007
SUNRISE, Fla. -- CountWise, the People-Counting Solutions company, announced today that it has experienced a three-fold sales increase for 2007 and doubled its U.S. customer base with several top-tier companies.
CountWise, which has seen tremendous growth from clients in the retail, casino, and government sectors, has hired two distinguished executives and raised the curtain on several international offices. In response to the high demand for its technology and services, the company has unveiled larger facilities for its US headquarters in Florida, as well as new European Headquarters in the UK, new offices in New York and Toronto, and plans to open its Asian Headquarters in early 2008.
CountWise's newly appointed President is Amir Chitayat. Prior to CountWise, Chitayat was President of Expand Networks, where he led the IT company through a two-year sales growth of greater than $20M. During that time, the company was heralded by Gartner consulting as an innovator and leader.
Jason Farrell, co-founder of RCT ShopperTrack's European operation and ex-Footfall employee, is now the Director of CountWise Europe and heads its new UK headquarters. Farrell has over 18 years of experience in the industry and has been entrusted with overseeing the company's European team and growth strategy.
"We've experienced tremendous growth in the US as our technology is being recognized by front-line customers, and we're looking forward to the same momentum and success abroad," says CountWise CEO & Founder Ilan Levran.
"I'm very pleased to have Amir Chitayat at our offices in New York," Levran adds. "Amir's expertise, in conjunction with the office's location amid global retailers, is guaranteed to produce exciting new partnerships. Likewise, the addition of Jason Farrell heading our new European HQ is destined to fuel our global growth."
CountWise was recently chosen as the technology of choice by several industry leaders such as Lord & Taylor, Tiffany's, Havertys, and H & M.
CountWise is the global leader of People Counting solutions, allowing businesses to accurately evaluate their people traffic, and draw from it the tools they require to improve their bottom line. The only company in its industry to guarantee an accuracy of at least 95%, CountWise's revolutionary technology was developed with military knowhow and combines highly sophisticated shape recognition with video motion detection in several robust and affordable products. The Countwise technology has been implemented by leading retailers including Tiffany, Tesco, H&M, Lord & Taylor, IKEA, ING, and Adidas, as well as shopping malls, casinos, and various government institutions.
