Customer Interaction and Informative Technical Sessions Help Solve the Mystery of Systems Management at Second-Annual Event
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- KACE, the leading systems management appliance company, is pleased to announce the overwhelming success of KACE User Konference 2007, the second-annual user forum held last week in San Francisco at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. This year's "Taking the Mystery out of Systems Management" themed-conference saw a more than doubling in attendance over last year and attracted KACE KBOX appliance users from around the globe. Attendees spent two days engaged in valuable KACE, partner, and peer presentations and discussions, enabling them to better realize effective systems management practices with the award-winning KBOX technology.
"The KACE User Konference 2007 provided a unique opportunity for KBOX users to improve their knowledge of KACE technology, as well as for us to recognize the successes and contributions of our customers," said Rob Meinhardt, CEO and co-founder of KACE. "The level of customer participation and feedback at this event was incredible. We are proud to have built innovative products that customers are so genuinely excited to be involved with and look forward to building this unique learning venue even bigger for next year."
The event opened with keynotes from Rob Meinhardt and fellow co-founder Marty Kacin, as well as Pete Solvik, former Cisco CIO and current managing director at Sigma Partners and a prominent KACE board member. The conference also offered nearly a dozen technical breakout sessions, on-going opportunities for partner and product demonstrations, and real-world experience presentations from KBOX users.
The conference activities were highly interactive. Attendees were given the opportunity to "Ask the Experts" - a panel of product engineers and customers - their most pressing systems management and product questions. Numerous participants volunteered to "Make Your KACE" and participated in video testimonials to the time and money savings gained through KBOX use. This year's conference also marked the inaugural meeting of the KACE Customer Kouncil, comprised of a group of select customers who gathered together to provide specific feedback into current product usage and future product direction.
"This year's Konference offered incredible insights," said Chris Blake, workstation administrator for Benchmark Group. "We've been using KBOX for nearly two years now and we're just thrilled about both the product's capabilities and the opportunity KACE provides to learn from fellow users in such a supportive community."
The Konference also recognized KACE customers for their achievements using the KBOX to manage its IT infrastructure. This year's award winners included:
* KACE Time Award - the customer who demonstrated greatest time savings through KBOX use: Polk County, Florida
* KACE Savings Award - the customer demonstrating the most monetary savings for their organization through KBOX use: Dexter Schools
* KBOX Customer Rookie of the Year: The Service Group
