Allison Rutledge-Parisi Named Chief Administrative Officer of Kaplan

NEW YORK -- Allison Rutledge-Parisi has been promoted to Chief Administrative Officer of Kaplan, Inc. She will oversee training, human resources, technology and other functions for Kaplan, a leading global provider of education that serves students at every stage of their lives.
Jonathan Grayer, Chairman and CEO of Kaplan, said, "Allison has brought a wealth of insight, good judgment and problem-solving skills to the issues facing our company. Our new leadership development program and training center are designed to broaden our managers' skills and help take Kaplan through its next phase of growth. As the person in charge of this program, Allison is taking on a key responsibility for Kaplan's future."
Before joining Kaplan in 2004 as an intellectual property lawyer, Ms. Rutledge-Parisi was an attorney with the Manhattan law firm Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler, LLP. She is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia Law School, where she was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She also clerked for Judge Robert W. Sweet in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Ms. Rutledge-Parisi is married to Dr. James F. Marion, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine; they have two daughters and live in Manhattan.
