WEBZEN Announces First Beta Dates for Online Game Parfait Station in Korea

Business Wire, Nov 15, 2007

SEOUL, South Korea -- WEBZEN Inc. (NASDAQ: WZEN), a leading global online entertainment company, today announced that the long-awaited online action player-versus-player (PvP) game Parfait Station will soon enter closed beta testing in Korea. A PC-based online game with a casual feel, Parfait Station will begin its first round of beta testing on Dec. 7, 2007.

With a heavy focus on PvP game play, Parfait Station provides online gamers with unique controls and dynamic action. In the game's distinctive PvP system, a player's victory or defeat depends on their skill, ability to control their character and develop a team strategy.

"We are excited to bring Parfait Station to market as a break away from our more traditional, hardcore MMO games," said Nam-Ju Kim, chief executive officer, WEBZEN Inc. "With its colorful design, cute characters and casual feel, Parfait Station is reminiscent of well-made arcade games while offering the best features of today's online PC gaming. Parfait Station is the perfect product to extend our customer base beyond the hardcore online gamer with an appeal for new audiences."

The Parfait Station official site will launch on Nov. 30, 2007.
