Business Wire, Nov 27, 2007
dti's Workers' Compensation expertise key to Triangle decision
BOSTON -- Delphi Technology, Inc. (dti), an established provider of technology solutions to the property and casualty insurance market, today announced that Oklahoma-based Triangle Insurance Company has selected dti's OASIS Workers' Compensation suite of products for policy processing, claims management and billing. Provided through an ASP-delivery model, the implementation of Triangle's solution is currently underway with production planned for December, in time for 2008 renewals.
The OASIS solution will be used to manage Triangle's Workers' Compensation business, currently outsourced to a third party. The implementation will include the development of a bi-directional data feed between dti's OASIS and Specialty Risk Services (Triangle's claims TPA) to enable the automation of coverage checking and collection of combined loss experience data.
Bret Wilson, Manager of Compliance and Information with Triangle, said, "We found dti's OASIS solution to be an ideal fit for our Workers' Compensation business, but what was really attractive to us was the dti staff's experience with Workers' Compensation insurance processing. We look to dti as not just a software provider, but also as a consultant and partner as we implement the OASIS system and roll out new Workers' Comp processes and procedures."
Sam Fang, dti's President, noted, "We thank Triangle for selecting our solution and appreciate their recognition of the skills and knowledge of the dti staff. As a company, we have had a focused effort to expand our presence in the Workers' Compensation market, so this win is particularly gratifying. We look forward to a successful implementation and helping Triangle derive maximum value from their OASIS system."
