FASTHockey and AspenTech Team Up To Webcast "Energy on Ice"

Charity hockey game will feature NHL and Olympic Legends, as well as celebrities

BROOKLINE, Mass. -- FASTHockey, the Web's leading resource for amateur hockey content and player recruiting, today announced that it has partnered with AspenTech to Webcast the 2007 "Energy On Ice" international charity hockey game between all-stars representing AspenTech and Russian national gas exporter Gazprom. The game will be played Sunday, December 2, at the Edge Sports Center in Bedford, Mass. Opening face-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

The Webcast will be available at www.FASTHockey.com, and is free to FASTHockey members. Registering for FASTHockey is also free. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., fans in attendance will have a chance to meet the players, and have their picture taken with the Stanley Cup. Entry is free, but fans are asked to bring an unwrapped toy that will be donated to Toys for Tots and the Colonel Daniel Marr Boys & Girls Foundation.

In conjunction with "Energy on Ice," AspenTech is providing funding to the USA Hockey Foundation to benefit youth hockey programs in Eastern Massachusetts. The funding support will focus on expanding hockey opportunities for young players who need financial assistance. Gazprom export is also creating a similar foundation to support youth hockey programs in Russia.

The AspenTech team will feature such legendary hockey names as Ray Bourque, Bobby Carpenter, Scott Young, Marty McInnis, Lane McDonald, Jeff Norton, Don Sweeney, Mark and Scott Fusco, and Ted Donato, as well as movie producer Bobby Farrelly. Mark Fusco is the president and CEO of AspenTech, which is a leading provider of process optimization software and services.
