SPAMfighter Has Released Version 6.0 for Download with a New Automatic Self-Updating Spam Detection Engine, and Improved Spam Detection
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- SPAMfighter released a new version, SPAMfighter 6.0, with improvements to the spam detection engine.
"This new version has improved, giving users the best protection against spam," commented Henrik Sorensen, co-founder of SPAMfighter. "We are continuously fighting in the war against spam, and it's great to have an updated system allowing users to receive the latest spam detection technology without maintenance."
The biggest improvement to the SPAMfighter update is the automation of the spam detection engine updates. In addition to SPAMfighter being an effective community filter, SPAMfighter technicians also work around the clock to find ways to stop the latest forms of spam mails, such as image spam, PDF spam, and MP3 spam.
This update allows users to receive the latest spam detection technology from SPAMfighter, without having to reinstall a new version. The update occurs automatically with no extra work from the user. The update is distributed in secure fashion, and digitally signed by SPAMfighter so there is no risk to the user.
SPAMfighter is a community spam filter, and filters e-mails based on two criteria.
First, SPAMfighter filters e-mails based on what is reported by the users in the SPAMfighter community. Second, SPAMfighter technicians use the e-mails in the SPAMfighter database in order to locate the latest trends, and find a solution to successfully filter them. Users are now able to automatically receive updates without lifting a finger through the new automatic spam detection engine update.
SPAMfighter has improved the spam detection engine. SPAMfighter technicians have developed new technology to help stop the latest forms of spam mail, such as improvements to stopping image spam, and new technology to stop the MP3 spam mails. SPAMfighter 6.0 can be downloaded from the SPAMfighter website here: www.spamfighter.com/download_download.asp.
