Recent Highlights Include New Board Appointees, Updated Channel Programs and Groundbreaking Product Enhancements
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- LogLogic[R] (www.loglogic.com), the log management leader, today announced a number of milestones demonstrating momentum over recent months including a number of industry accolades, a new advisory board member, the introduction of three new channel programs, and two new product releases. Through three quarters, LogLogic has already well exceeded the record revenue and customer growth from 2006, forecasting to double bookings from 2006 by year's end.
Advisory Board Welcomes CEO of Recently IPO'd Data Center Storage Company
In October, Frank Slootman, President and CEO of Data Domain, joined LogLogic's advisory board. Data Domain, a data center storage company, went public in June of 2007. Prior to Data Domain, Slootman served as an executive at Borland Software and Compuware Corporation. In his capacity on the LogLogic advisory board, Slootman will advise LogLogic on strategy and scaling operations as LogLogic continues its leadership in the fast growing Log Management and Intelligence (LMI) market.
"LogLogic is on an impressive growth trajectory and I'm excited about the opportunity to advise the team," said Slootman. "LogLogic is blazing a new trail and is well positioned to dominate this new technology category."
And the Winner Is ...
LogLogic has been named a Rising Star and ranked 9th in Deloitte & Touche USA LLP's Technology Fast 50 program for Silicon Valley. The Rising Star award is a special designation for fast-growth companies that have been in business a minimum of three years, but less than five, and is part of the Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 program, which ranks the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies headquartered in Silicon Valley. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2004-2006). In these years, LogLogic exhibited a revenue grown percentage of 1383%.
"The Deloitte Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 Rising Star companies have shown the strength, vision and tenacity to succeed despite a very challenging technology environment," said Mark Jensen, partner and national director, Venture Capital Services, Deloitte & Touche LLP. "We applaud the successes of LogLogic and acknowledge its place as one of the few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past three years."
Additionally, Info Security Products Guide, the world's leading publication on security-related products and technologies, has named LogLogic 4 a finalist for the 2008 Global Product Excellence Awards in 4 categories: Excellence in Compliance Solution, Excellence in Event Management Solution, Excellence in Forensics Solution, and Excellence in Security Solution for Enterprise categories. These prestigious global awards recognize security and IT vendors with advanced, groundbreaking products and solutions that are helping set the bar higher for others in all areas of technologies. LogLogic 4 was voted a finalist by more than 11,000 voters worldwide consisting of end-users, channel partners and readers of Info Security Products Guide. 2008 Global Product Excellence Award winners will be announced on January 30 at Technosium 2008.
Expanding Channel
In September, LogLogic announced their LogLogic Partner Program, a robust sales, marketing, and training offering that enables channel partners to simultaneously grow their revenue and margins. A month later, LogLogic announced a new Managed Services Provider (MSP) Partner Program by which MSPs can utilize LogLogic's industry-leading log management and intelligence (LMI) platform to extend their managed services offerings for their customers to collect, analyze, store, and alert on virtually any log source. Also in October, LogLogic announced their Certified Services Partner Program, under which current partners can become Certified Services Partners to deliver a variety of professional services to help customers make the most of their logs.
Product Enhancements
In October, LogLogic 4 Release 2 extended LogLogic's log data warehousing capabilities to include fine-grain auditing capabilities that document all user activity, including data accessing, changing, or deleting information at rest. LogLogic's log data warehouse is giving companies an on-demand way to see who is accessing, changing, deleting or moving information stored on file systems, Windows and UNIX servers, databases and midrange systems from NetApp, Blue Coat, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, HP, IBM, Oracle and Sybase, among other vendor solutions. By monitoring information level activities, companies can better protect information assets and complement IT Governance, Risk and Compliance initiatives.
LogLogic also released two updated packages for simplifying enterprise regulatory compliance. The LogLogic Compliance Suite: COBIT 4.1 and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Edition automates the process of using log data to evidence and enforce internal SOX controls through COBIT 4.1. The LogLogic Compliance Suite: Payment Card Industry (PCI) Edition instantly turns log data into automated reports and alerts for monitoring PCI Data Security Standard compliance.
