Bart Ming named Director of Small Business Sales for Humana in Corpus Christi, Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Bart Ming has been named Director of Small Business Sales for Humana Inc.'s (NYSE: HUM) Corpus Christi, Laredo and Rio Grande Valley commercial health insurance business, in an announcement made by Linda T. Hummel-McAlpin, chief executive officer of Humana of South Texas.
A 10-year veteran in the marketing of health and employee benefits to employers in South Texas, Ming will be responsible for new sales, account management, sales administration and retention of small group customers of 2 to 99 employees located in Corpus Christi, Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley. Humana has a wide array of health benefit products for small businesses in South Texas offering important new choices and flexibility to small and large businesses and consumers.

Prior to joining Humana in 2006, Ming served as manager of Sales and Service and as an account executive for PacifiCare Health Systems. He was also employed as an account executive by BlueCross BlueShield of Oklahoma and as a new business sales representative and recruiter/professional services coordinator for Aetna U.S. Healthcare.
Ming holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism/advertising from the University of Central Oklahoma and also attended the University of Oklahoma.
