Alogent Illustrates Deposit Automation Leadership at BAI Retail Delivery 2007
Business Wire, Nov 7, 2007
Alogent Corp. is pleased to announce two speaking sessions at Retail Delivery in Las Vegas November 13 - 15. As a testament to the company's success in deploying its branch deposit automation solutions, several of Alogent's financial institution customers will discuss the impact of image capture processes for both retail and commercial customers. The shift to real-time processing is a key driver in the continued evolution towards true paperless processing at U.S. financial institutions.
Session #1 Tuesday, November 13 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. PST Remote Deposit Capture for the Small Business Market
Remote deposit adoption is widely regarded as a "win-win-win" scenario for providers, financial institutions and end user depositors. Small businesses, in particular, are welcoming the opportunity to take advantage of the dynamic process flow changes associated with distributed capture technologies. Attendees will hear from KeyBank's Small Business Product Manager and Paul Citarella of Alogent on the value of the Small Business Market. This workshop will offer participants insight into current market conditions, review the business case for financial institutions, highlight go-to-market strategies, and present a small business case study. Additionally, attendees will gain practical knowledge about go-to-market trends, as well as ongoing support needs in the remote deposit arena.
Session #2 Thursday, November 15 2:45 - 3:45 p.m. PST Branch Image Capture: Understanding the Debate
Increased market demand confirms that branch image capture and deposit automation provide quantifiable benefits to banks and their customers. Differences of approaches and opinion still exist, however, as to whether front counter or back counter solutions provide a greater return on investment. In this session, Paul Citarella of Alogent will lead a panel discussion with three Tier 1 financial institutions customers to drill down into their respective operational scenarios, and their reasons for implementing front or back counter solutions. Panelists include: Michael Fisher, JPMorgan Chase; Kade Peterson, Sterling Savings Bank; and Julie Quandt, Comerica.
