Business Wire, Nov 8, 2007
Designed After Receiving Extensive Input From Agents Nationwide, REALTOR([R]) Lockbox NXT is First Internet-Enabled, Wireless Lockbox Solution
CINCINNATI -- SentriLock LLC (http://www.sentrilock.com), a leading provider of electronic lockbox solutions for the real estate industry, today announced it will introduce REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT, the industry's first electronic lockbox to integrate digital wireless communication, at next week's annual NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS[R] Conference & Expo. The Expo takes place in Las Vegas Nov. 13 to 16 and is expected to draw more than 20,000 real estate professionals from throughout North America.
More than a year in research, design, development and testing, SentriLock's new REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT takes real estate lockboxes to a new level through a next-generation platform of technology and other features that can be customized to meet the needs of any association or board. REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT features an array of advances designed for the diverse lockbox needs of all real estate professionals.
"We're proud to introduce the next generation in REALTOR[R] lockbox technology, and to be the first lockbox company to offer digital wireless integration," said Scott Fisher, president and CEO of SentriLock. "Equally as important, we listened carefully to real estate professionals over the past year, and in response we've built a lockbox solution that is flexible and caters to the individual needs of real estate professionals. Whether it's cutting-edge wireless technology for the tech-savvy agent or a lockbox that is now the industry's most secure and easy-to-use, REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT gives agents the key choices they told us they're looking for."
REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT is built upon SentriLock's patented lockbox technology and its SentriCard([R]) smart card, which serves as the electronic "key" for the lockbox.
REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT features include:
* Smaller size yet more storage capability - although the completely redesigned lockbox is significantly smaller, its new key bin is now much larger: nearly two times bigger than any electronic lockbox on the market. This means gate cards, key fobs, elevator keys and keys with tags all easily fit in the key bin.
* Enhanced Security - as a result of its newly designed double-layer alloy steel, REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT is the most secure lockbox solution on the market.
* 100% compatibility with the current REALTOR[R] Lockbox. All SentriCard([R]) smart cards in use today are fully functional with the REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT platform.
* Wireless Technology, Ease of Use - The REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT platform's flexible design allows SentriLock to quickly bring to market new technology innovations. For instance, with the REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT Wireless, real estate professionals will be able to use a combination of wireless technology and the Internet to change lockbox settings, access options and showing information - without having to actually drive to the listing and do so manually.
"Real estate professionals are looking for technology made simple, and SentriLock's REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT delivers this and much more to our family of real estate professionals," said Bob Goldberg, senior vice president of marketing and business development for the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS[R].
SentriLock will demonstrate REALTOR[R] Lockbox NXT at booth 2229 at the REALTORS[R] Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.
