Insurance Marketing Podcast Discusses Liberty Mutual's "Responsibility. What's Your Policy?" Campaign

OLDWICK, N.J. -- The latest edition of The Insurance Marketing and Advertising Podcast discusses Liberty Mutual's high-profile "Responsibility. What's Your Policy?" multimedia marketing campaign with Steve Sullivan, Liberty's Senior Vice President for Communications.
The unusual campaign has jumped into popular culture, even becoming the subject of a Jay Leno skit on the "Tonight Show." Through the campaign, Liberty Mutual projects itself as an insurer people can be comfortable doing business with.

"If you look in the popular media today you'll see celebrations of irresponsible and trivial behavior. But when you go below the surface with most Americans they really believe that personal responsibility is important in people's lives, even though the popular media doesn't show that very often," Sullivan reported in the interview. "Interview after interview after interview came back with words to the effect of: We do the right thing. So, we're doing the right thing when we do well by our customers. To us, that's taking responsibility...."
Sullivan is a featured speaker at the 2007 Insurance Marketing and Advertising Summit, set for November 8 at the Hilton New York, in New York City. The one day conference, presented by the A.M.
