Yahoo! CEO Jerry Yang to Deliver Industry Insider Address at the 2008 International CES

Internet Pioneer to Kick Off 2008 Industry Insider Series at the Las Vegas Hilton Theater
ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA([R])) today announced that Jerry Yang, CEO and Chief Yahoo! of Yahoo! Inc., will deliver an Industry Insider address at the 2008 International CES. Produced by CEA, the 2008 International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, returns to Las Vegas, January 7-10, 2008.
Yang will kick off the 2008 International CES Industry Insider Series with an address slated for the first day of the show, Monday, January 7, at 11 a.m., at the Las Vegas Hilton Theater.
"Jerry Yang co-founded and leads one of the most influential and ground-breaking Internet navigational sites in history, making information instantaneously accessible for consumers across the globe," said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA. Jerry Yang co-created the Yahoo! Internet navigational guide in 1994 and co-founded Yahoo! Inc. in April 1995. He was appointed chief executive officer in June 2007. Yang has been instrumental in building Yahoo! into the world's most trafficked web site, and one of the Internet's most recognized brands. Since the company's inception, Yang has been a key member of the Yahoo! executive management team, and currently serves on Yahoo!'s board of directors. Yang is also on the board of directors of Alibaba, the Asian Pacific American Community Fund, Cisco and Yahoo! Japan, and serves on the board of trustees at Stanford University.
The 2008 International CES will feature the hottest product debuts from 2,700 exhibitors, covering more than 30 product areas, including the latest in content, wireless, digital imaging, mobile electronics, home theater and audio.
