The Outsourcing Institute to Unveil its Much Anticipated Online Community and Marketplace During OutsourceWorld New York
Business Wire, Oct 17, 2007
NEW YORK -- The Outsourcing Institute (OI), the largest neutral network of outsourcing buyers, providers and influencers in the world, today announced its plan to unveil a new online portal that will provide unprecedented access to best practices, tools and support... as well as global networking among outsourcing buyers, providers and advisors. The new portal will launch during OutsourceWorld New York 2007, the premier pure-play business trade platform for executives with a need to outsource business services, taking place October 24th - 25th at The Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
The portal will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for OI platinum members looking to buy, sell, advise, or manage in the outsourcing arena. It will provide all of the resources and information organizations need in order to succeed in outsourcing, regardless of company size or budget.
"Our strategy was to develop an 'intelligent network' to harness the expertise and collective wisdom of our entire global community for the benefit of each individual member," said Frank J. Casale, Founder & CEO, The Outsourcing Institute. "I was convinced that we could create time-efficient and cost-effective ways for people in the outsourcing arena worldwide to buy, sell, partner, manage, research, network and publish. It has taken a considerable amount of time and investment - more than we had anticipated - but version 1.0 is finally ready and we are ecstatic. What we have created here is a grand connector, a clearinghouse, creating efficiencies and opportunities for all who sit at the outsourcing table."
The web-centric platform has been designed to allow participants within the outsourcing ecosystem to connect, collaborate and succeed in a way unlike any other with on-demand access to best practices, leading-edge research, new suppliers, potential clients, new hires, and new opportunities. Users will also be given access to top experts, the latest tools and up-to-the-minute information and industry buzz.
"The Outsourcing Institute couldn't have picked a better venue to launch its online portal, as we are expecting more than 1,000 attendees at this year's show, all of whom would benefit from a resource such as this," said David Etzler, CEO, OutsourceWorld. "Outsourcing used to be such a tough business to be a part of... and even more difficult a concept to grasp. Organizations such as the Outsourcing Institute have lent such credibility to the practice, not to mention played a keep role in helping it grow. We are honored to have been chosen to help promote their vision."
