Ron Aldridge to Lead Phoenix Investor Relations

HARTFORD, Conn. -- The Phoenix Companies, Inc. (NYSE: PNX) today announced that Ronald Aldridge has joined the company as vice president, Investor Relations.

His financial expertise and years of investor relations experience will be invaluable as we continue our commitment to an active dialogue with our shareholders and the broader investment community," said Dona D. Young, chairman, president and chief executive officer.
Mr. Aldridge, 53, most recently served as senior director of investor relations for Pfizer Inc. He spent 14 of his 20 years at Pfizer in investor relations, previously serving as a financial analyst and internal auditor. Mr. Aldridge earned a bachelor's degree in English from Yale University, a master's degree in English from the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A. in accounting from New York University.
He reports to Peter A. Hofmann, executive vice president and chief strategic officer, who has managed Phoenix's relationships with the investor and analyst communities since 2001.
