Business Wire, Oct 24, 2007
Firms Selected to Leverage Operational Strategy to Enhance Medical Logistics Processes and Execution
WASHINGTON -- PRTM, a worldwide management consulting firm, and Palladium Group, Inc., the leading strategy management firm, announced today the award of a multi-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA), an organization that is responsible for providing critical medical materiel lifecycle management and logistics solutions to the Army warfighter.
PRTM and Palladium will work with USAMMA to refine its strategy for meeting the medical demands and needs of an Army at war, validate that strategic direction with its customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, convert those strategic objectives into operational capabilities, and develop and measure performance against the strategic initiatives. Under the agreement, PRTM and Palladium will assist USAMMA with enhancing its internal and external strategic activities through the firms' unique ability to blend strategy management, operational execution, portfolio management, commercial experience, and Department of Defense supply chain consulting expertise.
"Enhancing organizational effectiveness and achieving performance excellence has never been more critical than in today's government organizations. We are excited to have the opportunity to apply our teams' capabilities for strategy development and operational execution to USAMMA's critical missions for the Army," said Jay Heroux, Vice President, Government Services, Palladium.
"Many companies and organizations in the commercial and government markets have developed strategic initiatives and strategies, but failed to implement them effectively. Through our partnership, PRTM and Palladium have the unique capability to operationalize strategic initiatives and put them into effect to support any organization," said Jeffrey L. Holmes, Director, PRTM's Global Public Sector Practice. "PRTM and Palladium are proud to be able to make a contribution to the strategic direction for military medical logistics and will leverage our industry knowledge and experience to help USAMMA achieve its core missions in its support for our warfighters and their families."
