"With four of our domain experts and two of our customers/partners presenting, we are making a bold statement here at CIPTUG that our ClarusIPC solution truly empowers unified communications and seamlessly supports Cisco Unified Communications Manager version 6," said Brendan F. Reidy, President and CEO of Clarus Systems, Inc. "Over the past few months, we have gained significant customer and product momentum based on our alliances with leading systems integrators including VITAL Network Services, BlueWater Communications Group and partner IQ Services. We have also expanded the feature set of our solutions beyond testing to include Voice Monitor and Help Desk functionality in our elite ClarusIPC Plus( ) package. Additionally, several financial services customers have been beta testing the new Voice Monitor."
This past June, Clarus Systems and VITAL Network Services - an independent, multi-vendor provider of network lifecycle services - forged an alliance in response to demands for certification solutions to test and verify proper functionality of Cisco IP Communications deployments. One month later, Clarus aligned with BlueWater Communications Group - a high-performance organization focused on providing holistic, cohesive Unified Communications and infrastructure services to growing companies - to allow BlueWater to provide certification solutions that test and verify proper functionality of Cisco IP Communications deployments direct to clients. BlueWater Communications Group has been reselling ClarusIPC to their enterprise customers for use in managing in-service IP telephony systems. Most recently, an alliance with IQ Services takes Clarus' integrated management and testing solutions to the contact center.
"We have been impressed with the performance of the new Voice Monitor based upon our recent beta testing," said John Koehler, President and CEO of VITAL Network Services. "Clarus Systems has trained our technicians on the capabilities of this new module and we believe Voice Monitor will deliver additional value to our Day 2 customers by providing timely alerts on voice quality."
The new ClarusIPC Plus( ) includes a Voice Monitor module to help users monitor voice quality, service availability, and security conditions through the use of a sophisticated rules and policy engine. It also includes a Help Desk module. The standard ClarusIPC application is utilized by enterprises, systems integrators and managed service providers (MSPs) to support the deployment and optimization of Cisco's Unified Communications Manager solution. ClarusIPC is scalable and offers remote certification, configuration analysis, and troubleshooting - further validating operational integrity while building the foundation for a Unified Communications network. ClarusIPC is the only testing solution endorsed by Cisco in the Best Practices guide, "Steps to Success."
