Boingo Inks Deal With Thailand's True to Broaden Coverage for Business Travelers in Southeast Asia

More Than 4,000 Hotspots in Thailand Expand Boingo Roaming Network to More Than 23,000 Asian Locations
LOS ANGELES -- Boingo Wireless Inc., the world's leading wholesale network aggregator and operator of neutral-host Wi-Fi networks, today announced a partnership with True Corporation Plc., Thailand's only fully-integrated communication provider, and leader in convergence solutions. With more than 4,000 hotspots in Bangkok and surrounding provinces, the roaming agreement represents an extension of Boingo's Asian roaming network to more than 23,000 total hotspot locations.
Boingo access points in Thailand now include airports, universities, office buildings, cafes such as Starbucks and Au Bon Pain and popular five-star hotels in Bangkok, as well as outdoor Wi-Fi zone around the city's prime lifestyle and shopping areas.
Known as "Wi-Fi by True Move," the network is the latest in a rapid succession of Asian hotspots operators joining the Boingo[R] Roaming System, providing Boingo users with coverage in popular business travel routes from China and Hong Kong to Taiwan, Korea, Japan and all of Southeast Asia.
