CIGNA Tel-Drug Pharmacist Named to State Board of Pharmacy

Jeffrey Nielsen, RPh Appointed to South Dakota Board of Pharmacy
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Jeffrey L. Nielsen, RPh, chief pharmacist and assistant vice president of clinical operations and specialty pharmacy for CIGNA Tel-Drug[R], has been appointed by Gov. Michael Rounds to the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy1. Nielsen became the fifth member of the Board of Pharmacy and his appointment is effective until October 1, 2010, according to legislation that was established by the South Dakota Legislature in 2006.

Nielsen has worked for CIGNA Tel-Drug in Sioux Falls for the past 13 years and has served as an advisor for the pharmacy technical training program at Southeast Technical Institute. He graduated from South Dakota State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy.
