The HomePlug Powerline Alliance Announces Complete Agenda for Annual Conference
SAN RAMON, Calif. -- The HomePlug[R] Powerline Alliance today announced that Michael Greeson, founder and CEO of The Diffusion Group (TDG), the nation's leading new media research consultancy, will headline a session titled, "2008: The Year the Industry's Best Kept Secret Is Revealed," at the 3rd Annual HomePlug Powerline Technology Conference. Following on the heels of the Alliance's recent announcement of three top-level keynote speakers participating in the conference - Julian Day, chairman and CEO of RadioShack; Stephen Wildstrom, BusinessWeek Magazine's "Tech & You" columnist; and Martin Manniche, senior director of engineering at Linksys, a Division of Cisco Systems, Inc. - Michael Greeson's presentation will provide insight into what lies ahead for the upcoming year in powerline communications. Additionally, Mr. Greeson will address the HomePlug members in a special meeting prior to the Technology Conference.
Since co-founding TDG in April 2004, Mr. Greeson has served as President and Principal Analyst, directing the research and consulting efforts of this "virtual think tank." Mr. Greeson has active consulting relationships with many of the world's most innovative technology, consumer electronic, and "new media" companies on subjects ranging from broadband-enabled media to "connected consumer" platform and services. Prior to founding TDG, Michael served as executive vice president of research and strategy for Parks Associates, directing the firm's primary and secondary research and initial strategic consulting efforts.
The Annual HomePlug Powerline Technology Conference will be held on October 11 and 12 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in Santa Clara, California.
