Natixis Global Associates Names Herve Guinamant President and CEO for International Distribution

PARIS & BOSTON -- Natixis Global Associates announced today that Herve Guinamant has been named president and chief executive officer of its international investment distribution organization. Mr. Guinamant had previously served as executive vice president, head of distribution for Europe (Ex-France), the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Based in Paris, Mr. Guinamant will report to John T. Hailer, president and chief executive officer of both Natixis Global Associates and Natixis Global Asset Management North America.

In his new role, Mr. Guinamant will direct a network of global distribution offices and partners located in France, Germany, the UK, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Sydney, Dubai and Chile, from which the firm delivers a wide range of investment solutions tailored to local market conventions. The firm's institutional clientele includes pension schemes, insurance companies, banks, government agencies, endowments and consultants. Product strategy, sales administration and sales support functions dedicated to the firm's global activities based in Boston, France and the UK also report to Mr. Guinamant.
Previously Mr. Guinamant was managing director and head of business development for IXIS Asset Management (now Natixis Asset Management), a role in which he served on the firm's Executive Committee. He joined the company in 1998 as director of global communications and marketing after holding the same position at Credit Agricole Asset Management. Mr. Guinamant is a graduate engineer from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts et Metiers and holds a diploma from the French Institute of Actuaries.
