Lawson Software Announces 64-bit Application Support for IBM AIX Operating System

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Today from Gartner Symposium/ITxpo, in Orlando, Fla., Lawson Software (Nasdaq:LWSN) announced that Lawson 9 enterprise applications are now available in a 64-bit version for the IBM AIX operating system. This will allow Lawson enterprise applications to be deployed on the IBM System p POWER platform running IBM AIX in 64-bit mode.
Lawson 9 technology is a leading service-oriented architecture (SOA)-based business process platform for Lawson's enterprise applications. Lawson 9 offers a high-performance, standards-based technology solution that delivers formidable security, scalability and versatility. The system also offers a lower total cost of ownership and is designed to help provide greater, more rapid return on investment.
