Alion Awarded $22.86 Million Environmental Services Assistance Team Contract

Science and Technology Company to Provide Technical, Analytical and Quality Assurance Support to Environmental Protection Agency
MCLEAN, Va. -- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded Alion Science and Technology a $22.86 million Environmental Services Assistance Team (ESAT) Region 2 contract. The region includes New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands and the Tribal Nations.
Under the contract, Alion will provide sample analysis, analytical and field support services, quality assurance support, data review and validation, technical information and electronic data transfers and support the EPA Region 2 Science and Technology Center. Alion will also assist the Office of Solid Waste and the Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation in meeting the requirements and objectives of environmental laws.

Alion also operates ESAT contracts in Regions 6 and 7, which include Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa.
