Report Confirms iET ITSM as a Leading End-to-End IT Service Management Solution
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- iET Solutions, a leading provider of ITIL[R] based IT Service Management (ITSM) software solutions and services, today announced the release of a technology audit report by Butler Group that reviews iET ITSM 4.1. Butler Group, based in the UK, is an information technology research and analysis firm. Butler Group Technology Audits provide an objective, third-party assessment of products and services from IT vendors.
According to the report, written by Senior Research Analyst Roy Illsley, "iET ITSM v4.1 is a very capable and user friendly ITSM product. It is easy-to-use, with a good UI and many additional features that organizations implementing an ITSM approach will find beneficial."
The report applauds iET ITSM's modular approach, which allows users to implement the ITSM solution in stages. "iET ITSM enables organizations not only to implement the solution at a pace that they are comfortable with, but also provides a process analysis module that can be used to determine the effectiveness of current processes, and also identify the value obtained from any changed processes."
The report concedes that the ITSM market is crowded, but considers iET ITSM a viable choice. "iET ITSM v4.1 compares very favorably to other products on the market. It is based on an n-tier application delivery platform called iET Enterprise Technology Platform, which enables it to be very flexible in how it delivers the capabilities to the end-user."
Illsley goes on to say, "iET ITSM v4.1 addresses the needs of its target market very well, and has some excellent features that enable additional benefit to be derived from its deployment. We particularly like the process analyzer module, and the time allocation feature in the main ITSM module."
