Trolltech Expands Management Team

OSLO, Norway -- Trolltech[R] announced today that Chuck Piercey has joined Trolltech in Redwood City as Vice President of Product Management. Piercey brings over 20 years of experience in product strategy, product management, product marketing, business management and technology expertise.

As head of Trolltech's product management team, Piercey will oversee Trolltech's multi-OS, multi-device product development platform. Prior to Trolltech, Piercey was with Business Objects, where he served as Senior Director of Labs and also Senior Director of Product Management for New Initiatives. Before Business Objects, he held management positions at Acta Technology, Silicon Graphics, Apple Computer and IBM.
