Allied Pilots Association Observes Sept. 11 Anniversary

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The Allied Pilots Association (APA) held a flag-lowering ceremony today in honor of the American Airlines crewmembers and many others killed six years ago in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The ceremony was held at 7:46 a.m. Central Daylight Time at APA's headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas. American Airlines Flight 11 struck the north tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m. EDT on Sept. 11, 2001, marking the start of the attacks. APA is committed to honoring the memory of everyone killed on 9/11, including five American Airlines pilots and 13 American Airlines flight attendants.
