Telular Raises Telguard Revenue Guidance Due to Strong Demand For Digital Cellular Communicators
Business Wire, Sept 12, 2007
Telguard Current Quarter Revenue Now Projected to Exceed $20.0 Million vs. $12.5 Million Last Quarter
CHICAGO -- Telular Corporation (Nasdaq: WRLS), the premier provider of fixed cellular technology today revised its full-year Telguard guidance, which includes both product and service revenues, to $57-59 million from $53-54 million. During the current fiscal fourth quarter, Telular has seen a dramatic increase in sales of its fully digital line of security products fueled by the approaching analog cellular sunset date. Previously, Telular estimated Telguard product revenue was expected to grow 30% sequentially for the fourth quarter and now estimates that growth to exceed 90% sequentially.
"Telular has seen sustained demand for new placements of digital cellular communicators and accelerated demand from its dealers for analog to digital upgrades," said Mike Boyle president and chief executive officer of Telular Corporation. "Telular's market-leading portfolio of digital solutions is supporting the economical and seamless conversion of wireless alarms from analog to digital."
Based on this increase in demand, Telular is currently projecting fiscal fourth quarter Telguard revenue of over $20 million. Telguard accounted for $12.5 million in sales in the immediately preceding fiscal third quarter ended June 30, 2007 and $12.1 million in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2006.
