HandySoft's OfficeEngine™ Named 2007 Trend-Setting Product by KMWorld
Business Wire, Sept 12, 2007
OfficeEngine Combines the Power of Traditional BPM with the Flexibility of E-mail
VIENNA, Va. -- HandySoft Global Corp., a leading provider of business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that KMWorld has recognized OfficeEngine(TM) as one of the "Trend-Setting" products for 2007.
"HandySoft continues to be an important BPM player, especially with its unique approach to integrating dynamic and structured processes," said Hugh McKellar, KMWorld editor in chief. "HandySoft's release of OfficeEngine underscores our philosophy of acknowledging companies for their willingness to listen and serve customers in innovative ways. OfficeEngine originated as the result of customer demand and has proven to fill an important void in the market."
OfficeEngine is the first solution to combine the power of traditional BPM with the flexibility of e-mail. Launched in December 2006, OfficeEngine is a breakthrough application that enables knowledge workers to create, assign, sub-delegate, track and execute mission-critical work in real time.
The editors of KMWorld considered more than 650 individual products and assembled this year's list based on discussions with analysts, integrators and users.
"We are delighted to be recognized as an innovator by KMWorld," said Scott Byrnes, vice president of marketing, HandySoft Global Corp. "Executives are realizing that although traditional BPM applications afford them much greater visibility and control of structured processes, only 20% of work falls in that structured category; the other 80% is completely ad-hoc and dynamic. OfficeEngine fulfills the BPM promise--increased productivity, visibility and control--for the other 80% of work."
HandySoft was also recognized as one of KMWorld's '100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management.'
The list of Trend-Setting products is included in KMWorld's September 2007 issue, available online at www.kmworld.com.
