Business Wire, Sept 12, 2007

SANTIAGO, Chile & SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Intransa, the global leader of scalable, security-grade IP storage solutions, and Bitelco, a leading provider of security solutions throughout South and Latin America and a subsidiary of Diebold, a leader in financial self-service and security, today announced a sales and marketing partnership. Through the agreement, Intransa's scalable security-grade IP network storage solutions will be fully integrated into the Diebold security solutions offered by Bitelco.

Through the partnership, Bitelco gains access to the full suite of Intransa scalable, security-grade IP network storage products, designed for use in video surveillance, access control, intrusion protection, and other security applications and environments. Intransa's scalable IP storage will be used as the backend of Bitelco solutions, reducing storage requirements and costs for customers while increasing reliability and availability.

"Intransa's security-grade IP storage solutions, when combined as part of a Bitelco solution, allows customers to retain more video and at higher resolutions than ever before," said Dario Diaz, Commercial Director, Bitelco. "Best of all, by reducing the number of components and replacing them with fully redundant IP devices, the overall reliability of the resulting storage solution is greatly increased while storage costs are controlled and even reduced."

The addition of Bitelco to the Intransa StorPartner Channel Partner Program provides customers with significant benefits. "Having a truly world-class marketing partner who is installing and supporting our products throughout South and Latin America, such as Bitelco, is a great opportunity for customers," said Bud Broomhead, CEO of Intransa. "Bitelco is well-known as a trusted source of security solutions and with the integration and distribution of Intransa's IP network storage it is on the cusp of the hottest trend in the security industry."

Headquartered in Santiago, Chile, Bitelco offers security solutions throughout the region that include system design, installation and ongoing support. As a member of the Intransa StorPartner Channel Partner Program, Bitelco will offer Intransa's scalable, security-grade IP SAN solutions for video surveillance, analytics and other security and IT applications throughout South America in addition to Latin America.
