Productivity and Ease-of-Use Enhancements Improve Realistic Product Behavior Simulation During the Design Phase

PARIS, France & PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Dassault Syst[c]mes (DS) (NASDAQ:DASTY) (Paris:DSY), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that its SIMULIA brand for realistic simulation, has released Abaqus for CATIA Version 2.5, the technology-leading software for advanced finite element analysis (FEA) in the CATIA environment.

The new automatic contact detection feature simplifies the modeling process and reduces potential errors by providing a wizard-based interface that guides users through setup options and automatically detects all likely contact pairs.
