Passlogix ESSO Workshop at Digital ID World Sept. 26 to Provide In-Depth Look at Enterprise Single Sign-On
Business Wire, Sept 13, 2007
NEW YORK -- Passlogix[R], Inc. announced today that it is sponsoring an Enterprise Single Sign-On (ESSO) workshop at the Digital ID World Conference in San Francisco from 12-3 pm on Wednesday, September 26. The workshop will explore how ESSO technology can help customers advance password management, identity management and strong authentication initiatives.
The session will cover the advantages of ESSO in managing user credentials and authentication, the cost savings that can be achieved in areas including the help desk, and strategies for deploying ESSO in conjunction with kiosk workstations, strong authentication devices and identity provisioning systems to achieve benefits such as touchless provisioning and easier identity mapping.
Participants will also have the opportunity to work with Passlogix engineers and product managers to design their own ESSO solutions, leveraging Passlogix's experience in global implementations of the company's market-leading v-GO Sign-On Platform.
"Enterprise single sign-on is one of the hottest areas in identity management, both because of the difficulties of managing multiple application passwords and because of ESSO's ability to help organizations meet the security requirements of regulations like Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, HIPAA and Basel II," said Eric Norlin, Senior Editor, Digital ID World. "This Passlogix workshop will help network managers assess the value of ESSO for their organizations and gain an in-depth understanding of how the technology fits into the overall identity framework."
The workshop will be run by Stephane Fymat, Passlogix vice president of product management and sales operations, and Matthew Berzinski, Passlogix product manager. To register, visit www.passlogix.com/didregi/
The Digital ID World Conference will take place at the San Francisco Hilton from September 24-26. Sessions will cover identity-related deployment experiences from over 50 companies as well as in-depth sessions on ESSO, federated identity, virtual directories, user-centric identities and provisioning.
