MGI PHARMA Announces Change to Presentation Time at the Merrill Lynch Global Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Devices Conference

MINNEAPOLIS -- MGI PHARMA, INC. (Nasdaq:MOGN) today announced that the time of its presentation at the Merrill Lynch Global Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Devices Conference in London, England on Thursday, September 20, 2007 has been changed to 5:00 a.m. ET. Bill Spengler, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer will provide an overview of the Company, its products, pipeline and 2007 corporate goals.
The presentation will be webcast live and may be accessed by logging on to MGI PHARMA's corporate website at www.mgipharma.com. Please connect to the Company's website at least 15 minutes prior to the live presentation to ensure adequate time for any software download that may be necessary to listen to the webcast.
