TMP Worldwide Wins 7 WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association
Business Wire, Sept 19, 2007
NEW YORK -- TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications, the world's largest independent recruitment advertising agency, today announced that it captured 7 WebAwards from the annual Web Marketing Association (WMA) competition. The WebAward Competition, now in its 11th year, is the premier annual web site award competition that names the most effective and best web sites on the Internet in 96 industries.
TMP received an Employment Standard of Excellence Award for web sites created for Microsoft and for Kaiser Permanente, America's leading non-profit integrated health plan, two Standard of Excellence Awards for Edward Jones, the financial-services firm; as well as three Standard of Excellence Awards for government agencies, including two for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's Special Agent recruitment website and the 3rd for work done on a national security agency website. Due to contractual agreements, the other name can not be released. Entries receive the Standard of Excellence WebAward when their evaluated score ranks above the average of their industry.
"Our clients are great partners who are committed to using the most advanced methods to uncover the best talent to fulfill their staffing needs," stated Michelle Abbey, president and CEO of TMP Worldwide. "It is through our great relationships and continual collaboration with them that we are able to do award winning work on their behalf."
"As we have passed our one year anniversary as an independent company, we are proud of the growth that we have achieved and the value that we bring to our clients," continued Abbey. "We are developing a real track record of delivering highly-effective interactive solutions for our clients, and these awards highlight that strength. We thank the WMA and its panel of judges for recognizing TMP's hard work."
The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web. Web sites are judged on seven criteria including: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use.
